GIRL'S ROAD TRIP!!!

A few weekends ago Katie and I went to St. George for a little mini vacation. "Why St. George?" you ask? Well, reason #1: Katie's parents live there so we had a free place to stay. Major plus!! Reason #2: It's far enough away that it feels like a vacation but not so far away that it takes a full day of traveling. And reason #3: Ummm, ok, I guess there were only those 2.

We hit the road Friday night as soon as our Hubby's got home from work.

Pretty sure we went to bed somewhere around 2am and woke up at about 11am. It was awesome! We got ready for a fun filled day of eating, shopping, and more eating. "Faturday" as I liked to call it. I swear we didn't mean to match. We didn't even realized we looked like twins until we took this picture. Oops!
Months and months of saving up brought us to the ATM machine. We were super stoked!

After a very full day of shopping and eating we decided to see a movie, but first stopped by a local Starbuck's for "the best hot chocolate ever." It really was tasty.

At some point after the movie we spent a good half hour taking pictures of ourselves and laughing at them. We stayed up pretty late...ok, 6am, but we slept until 11am again and even took a nap later in the day when we discovered we just couldn't hang like we used to.

Woke up Sunday to have breakfast, or shall we say lunch at The Bear Paw, Yummm! Shopped a little more, napped, hung out with Katie's Mom for a bit, attempted the mall which apparently closes at 6pm (sheesh!), got some dinner and headed home.

Thanks so much to Shawn and Jared for letting us have a girl weekend and taking such great care of our babies while we were gone.
