Cora has been taking piano lessons since the beginning of this year. She's doing a really great job! She was supposed to have a piano recital at the beginning of June but her teacher (Sister Lee) had to leave town for a family emergency. A lot of Sister Lee's students were moving away, or going on vacation later in the month so the recital was cancelled. Cora was really bummed. She'd been working so hard on a few piano numbers and was really looking forward to playing them for other people. I decided to just do a little recital at home for her. I let her get dressed up and I made mini lemon cupcakes and we had an at home recital. She did such a great job and it was so fun to see how accomplished she felt. Great job Cora!!!
